Jörg
Jörg has been active in the printing industry since 1979. He completed his Typesetting trade exam at Main Echo, Aschaffenburg, in Germany. He became a Journeyman in 1982.
Jörg immigrated to South Africa in 1984.
His career started at Typesetting and Repro. After that, he joined Liberty Life’s marketing team to set up the in-house typesetting and design department. Later he joined Disc Express as a shareholder and director, a fully electronic imaging bureau, and was amongst the first to enter into the computer era of the pre-press printing industry. He also has experience in silkscreening, having installed a CD silk screening machine, and got into the manufacturing of CDs from printing on the discs to the complete CD package. Jörg then started The Oaktreegroup and produced Annual Reports for Blue Chip companies. Jörg then started The Ultimate Printhaus to offer a bureau service in 3D printing and partnered with Mike from M&B Print.
mIKE
Meet Mike. He decided that printing was indeed the avenue for him and has been in this industry since 1977. His wealth of knowledge is a great asset to The Ultimate Print Haus.
He has worked for acclaimed print houses and was in one of the first industries to welcome the computer arena in the pre-press printing industry. He has experience in silkscreening, CD manufacturing & printing (the complete CD package). Mike then ventured into new territory by starting his very own digital printing company. Soon into his adventure, he added a large format printer to the digital printer, which bolstered him into the signage side of the business.
Mike has now partnered with Jörg Salomo to go to the next generation of print in the 3D sphere of the printing industry.
